Sage came into my life when I met a wonderful breeder, Harriet Karns, who helped me to fall in love with a Chinese Crested. Harriet was there when Sage went Best of Breed at the Louisville Kennel Club Show and we made our first trip into the Group ring with ESPN recording. Sage went on to make the obedience community laugh with his antics and love to entertain when he knew that I couldn’t touch him. And finally, Sage became the first Chinese Crested in the history of the breed to earn a Tracking Dog title and then Versatility award (VCD2).
Sage will be missed but my wonderful memories of him will always remain. I never imagined to share my life with him for over 18 years. I will have good and bad days for a while so please bear with me. I am so blessed to have had him for as long as I did.
