Waiting for Fay and George since February 6, 2012
Bertha loved training, and she competed with courage and creativity. She was the Front & Finish #2 Toy Manchester Terrier in Utility class, and she achieved the American Manchester Terrier Club Hall of Fame Award. Bertha lived her last 5 years of retirement courageously and with creativity overcoming numerous infirmities. I retired her from Obedience when her sight failed her, but that’s when she shined on the Canine Freestyle Federation performance space where she could use creativity and freedom. She made numerous therapy and school visits and demonstrations long after her retirement from competition.Go peacefully, Bertha, to your restful playground full of treats, toys, a small pack of friendly dogs to govern, and a fluffy clean bed.
