September 2009: Good news: I did find
a way to keep updating our site while learning all about the exciting
new frontiers in dynamic web templates and cascading style sheets. It
takes three times longer than it should, but it'll do for limping along
for the duration while my old brain is trying to wrap itself around new
technology. Bad news: we haven't had a single sunny day so far this
month, and pictures of soggy, muddy dogs dripping under yet more loaded
thunderclouds are frankly just depressing. So I'll scour the archives
for heretofore unpublished pictures of the sun shining off of happy
doggie faces and post them here so
we can all take heart and remember those good old days of yore when the
sun actually shone on the green hills of Tennessee. Maybe one day we'll
see that big old yellow ball again, but for now, here are some
memories... -- Bev
