August 2009: Well, sadly, it seems
that I've pushed FrontPage as far as it's going to go, and this
venerable and ancient (in Internet terms) PDX site will have to be laid
to rest. I've been struggling with it for a while now, with various
hitches and glitches, and "now where the heck did THAT come from"
frustrations. I've done denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and
finally arrived at acceptance. Reluctantly. But, I'm resigned, and it's
time to lay this site down. It may be a little while before I can find
the right software, convert what I can, and recreate the rest, so please
be patient. My technical abilities got trapped in 2002, so it'll take
some catching up. In the meantime, please do enjoy all the many
thousands of pictures we've captured over the past five years. I'll be
using them as therapy myself! See you on the other side... -- Bev
