January 2009:
New year, new president, new hopes for the future. Happy New Year,
indeed!! But before we move on, I do want to give a great big PDX thanks
for all the comfort and joy bestowed unto us over the holidays. The
kitchen overflowed with awesomeness, hugely calorific and hugely
enjoyed. We also had fun trying on the socks, lighting the candles,
spending the gift cards, brewing the coffee, and sometimes we even let
the dogs play with THEIR toys. We try to remember to give thanks for our
blessings every time we say our prayers, but I also wanted the whole worldwide
web to know that we have the very best customers-slash-friends ever in
the whole history of the world. We are indeed blessed, and once again
inspired and humbled. Well, maybe not humbled, but definitely inspired!
Resolutions for 2009? We're planning on building a grooming area and
expanding the availability of those services. We're going to fix up the poor, dilapidated parking lot, at least by the road and side
entrance. We've got some boring roofing, plumbing, grading, and other
maintenance issues that can't be put off. Aside from that, though, we
just want to continue to review, tweak, improve, and refine so that
we're 100% sure that we couldn't do it even one scintilla better,
